Acupuncture

Personalized acupuncture based on Traditional Chinese Medicine assessment, tailored to your symptoms, health concerns, and individual needs.

What is this treatment?

Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment that uses fine, single-use sterile needles to stimulate specific points on the body.

Patients commonly seek acupuncture for neck, shoulder and back pain, muscle and joint discomfort, sports-related injuries, headaches, and post-stroke rehabilitation. Depending on individual needs, acupuncture may also be used to support women’s health, sleep concerns, and other health conditions.

Every patient is different. Your practitioner will assess your condition and recommend an appropriate treatment plan based on your individual needs.

What to Expect

Your first visit begins with a review of your symptoms, medical history, and general health, followed by a TCM and physical assessment when appropriate.

During treatment, fine, single-use sterile needles are placed at selected acupuncture points. You may experience mild aching, tingling, heaviness, or a dull sensation around some points.

After treatment, your practitioner will assess your response and discuss self-care advice and follow-up treatment when appropriate.
